Pompeu Fabra University

Founded in 1990 by a resolution from the Catalonian Parliament, the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) is one of the youngest public universites in Spain.  Today the UPF has 7,000 students enrolled in courses in from experimental, health and life sciences to human and social sciences and technical studies The UPF’s ever expanding campus is located in the heart of the city, stretching between the Rambla and the Poblenou in the Olympic village district.  One of the most modern and pioneering universities in Barcelona, UPF prides itself on its integrated teaching style.  By attending courses at the UPF, GSE students will have the option to take classes with Spanish students in both English and Spanish, as well as taking classes with other international students.

 
 
 
    
Admission Requirements & Recommendations
 Over the age of 18
 3.0 cumulative GPA
 One semester of college level Spanish or equivalent
 Must submit an official college transcript
 Must hold a Junior standing at your current University
