Additional comments from Paris Fall alumni...
"This was a great experience for me, and it made me realize that I am capable of living abroad by myself, for short periods of time. I am now applying for a program for next year, after I graduate from college, to be a teaching assistant in a French high school for a school year. I never would have believed myself capable of trying out an experience like this without having first tried living abroad for a trimester with GSE. The time I had in France was very eye-opening, and now I know that I am ready to take on something new! Thank you for an insightful experience abroad! I learned quite a bit about myself and my potential through this opportunity!" -Danice Elsman, Seattle Pacific University, Paris Fall
"I am very glad to have been able to do this semester abroad, in Paris. Je me suis beaucoup amusée pendant que j'étais là." -Andrea Miller, Fullerton College, Paris Fall
"I Had an amazing time. GSE provided the ground work for me. They were the skeleton, helpful and necessary. I had an incredible time and didn't feel pressured to do things I didn't want to do." -Brendon Garner, University of California, Santa Barbara, Paris Fall
Would you recommend this program to other students?
"I would absolutely recommend this program to anyone because it not only gives you the opportunity to go to school in a foreign country but I loved how we did weekend trips and group outings together. When I was missing home it was nice to know that I was with a group of other students feeling the same way and being a part of the group made the experience easier to adapt to." -Dana Wooten, University of California, Irvine, Paris Spring
"Yes I would recommnd this program. My advisor in the US was very helpful with preparture and our Onsite Staff was great if we ever needed help in Paris. Many other exchange students I met had no onsite director. I think that is great advantage of the program." -Matthew Barnes, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Paris Spring
"Yes I would. My program director Raymond was so much fun and really helpful. I also always felt completely taken care of and that people were looking after my best interests as well as really making me comfortable and familiar with my surroundings the first few weeks." -Caroline Rowland, University of California, Santa Barbara, Paris Spring
"Yes, I believe that GSE handled the most stressful parts of studying abroad. School and housing, as well as having an on-site adviser to answer questions was very helpful!" -Bethany Bryski, California State University, Northridge, Paris Spring
