Summer International Business and Relations - Summer 2013
The American Business School in Paris

The summer International Business and Relations Program at The American Business School in Paris is designed to create understanding of the European market through channels of culture, economics, and management.  These business-related electives are taught in English to GSE participants.

About the campus: The American Business School in Paris (video)

Students will enroll in two electives of their choice.  Each course meets for a total of 45 contact hours and is typically worth 3 semester credits.  For one summer term, students should expect to earn up to 6 semester units (a total of 90 contact hours).  Students on the ABS Paris summer program also participate in a company visit and trips to Brussels and Versailles in addition to GSE excursions and daytrips.

The students must register for two of the following courses:

Introduction to European Business : 3 credits
European Business Strategies : 3 credits
The European Economic Crisis: 3 credits
Doing Business in Asia: 3 credits
International Luxury Marketing: 3 credits

International Relations : 3 credits
Intercultural Management : 3 credits
Paris: A journey through time: 3 credits
Economic and Financial Environment of Global Business : 3 credits
