Intermediate-Advanced Italian Language

Written and Oral Comprehension, Vocabulary Acquisition and Grammar skills 300 Italian 8 120 At least 2-3 semesters of college level Italian recommended.

This course is for students who can already follow a more complex conversation, speak on more specific subjects, read and understand more difficult texts and who can express themselves more elaborately in writing.  The purpose of the course is to give students a good grammatical basis by enhancing their morphologic and syntactic notions and enriching their vocabulary.  There will be reading and dictation of increasing difficulty togheter with essays and other excercises.  The intermediate and advanced intermediate courses include a language laboratory.
