This course is designed to introduce students to aspects of French culture, history and identity through a study of historical and cultural events that have had an impact on the physical and psychological landscape of France and particularly of Paris. Taught entirely in French, this course will complement the language program undertaken in the mornings and will allow students to develop their language skills by assimilating and presenting information in French. By focusing on Paris, students will be encouraged to explore the city itself, as well as its museums and galleries, to further enhance their learning experience
