French 210-220 (Intermediate French) or equivalent

This is a follow-up to the intermediate French course. There will be a complete review of the structure of the French language with emphasis on the oral aspect of the language. Listening comprehension and reading skills are also stressed. Additional emphasis will be placed on civilization and culture.
COURSE OBJECTIVES : This course is designed to reinforce the student's knowledge of French while at the same time introducing new elements. Students will be encouraged to express themselves in French, and to use the structures and vocabulary learned. Through selected readings students will study various aspects of French life, to gain a better understanding of France and its people..
