Italian Language 400 Italian 4 60 Italian III or equivalent and the successful completion of an entrance exam given at the beginning of the semester.

This is a course for students who have completed at least three semesters of Italian Language: it includes comprehensive reading skills, oral communication, and an extensive grammar review. The student is provided with authentic, unabridged reading materials that are both interesting and relevant.  Authentic texts provide the language learner with an invaluable source of culture, rich source of vocabulary and more difficult grammatical structures.  All exercises and activities will focus on the development of reading skills and stimulate students' ability to interact in the target language through meaningful and creative communication.
