Silkscreen techniques range from hand-cut lacquer and paper stencils to photographic emulsion techniques using both hand drawn acetates and photographs with lithfilm. Instruction is given in color theory, registration techniques, darkroom procedures, and equipment use. Assignments cover a variety of textile surface design problems covering various systems for design repetition.
