French for Foreigners: Intermediate

Overview:
The main objective of this course is to provide the students with a sufficient level of French which will act as a solid basis from which future learning of the language can be expanded. The course will cover at the intermediate level: self presentation and presentation of others, communication in simple everyday situations, recounting events of the past and projects of the future, expressing opinions and judgements, expressing a project, an idea or a problem, written expression, work on oral and written fluency, and the extension of vocabulary. 

This course is intended for students who have had basic training in the French language (1-2 years of previous experience) and who wish to improve their written and verbal communication skills.

Students will also participate in 20 hours of cultural activities as part of this course.

European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System:
This course is worth 8 ECTS credits.
